Sisters and brothers in Christ,

On the behalf of Dong Hanh Youth, we would like to welcome you to the World Youth Day 2002 organized by Dong Hanh Youth. This is a great opportunity for you to share and to live your Christian Faith with the other youth all over the world.

As you know, we have entered the second phase of the Registration. At this phase, your Certificate Participation and your Release Form have been received. Your registration is now officially confirmed.

Along with this letter, you will receive:

1-     Your Group Participation Forms stamped. This will help you to cross the border without any problems. The group leader must have the Participation Forms of all the members who will be traveling along with him/her.

2-     You will also receive 2 postcards for each person. Feel free to send the postcards to announce this event to whomever you wish. and ask them to pray for you as you making the pilgrimage.

3-     Visiting and acknowledging the latest news on Dong Hanh Website at are strongly recommended. Every news will be updated at this website from now on. There is also a so-cool chat room to encourage people getting to know each other before living this unique experience altogether this summer.

4-     It would be interesting to bring small, exchangeable gifts to share with other youth from other part of the world. E.g. Pins, T-shirt, rosaries, etc. Just be creative.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Please fill in the Participation Certificate all the information require – For the section : Person Accompanying the subgroup – Please fill in the name and address of your Group Leader, who MUST also travel with you in the same airplane or the same car.

As we prepare this letter, we are only 85 days away from this event. This is a pilgrimage, along with the entire fellow to encounter Jesus. In order to be the Salt of the Earth and the  Light of the world, we encourage you to open up your heart, your mind, to bring your good humor and keep smiling.

We are looking forward to see you in Toronto, Canada and make a journey with you and our Risen Lord – Alleluia.
