When I try to imagine myself at the place during the event, I keep hearing myself talk to my children. I am not always following the same pattern as God the Father, because I also tell my children when I am not pleased with them. And I seem to do this more often than telling them when I am pleased with them.
In prayer, I hope to be more Christ-like (Christian?) and follow the Father's example of praise the good in dealing with my children.
