On 21 November 2006,
representatives from US-CLC EA,
World EXCO, CLC-USA (Dong Hanh
CLC's affiliate), Maryland
Jesuit provincial director for
development, DH-CLC and Jesuit
Conference met to kick-off a
meeting to
update each other on CLC’s
needs, current as well as
future activities. There were
concerns on how to support and
maintain college CLC members as
they move into the next stage in
life (professional and family
life). Other talks, to
name a few, include:
communicating CLC as a
lifestyle; how to provide
support to areas lacking guides
and leadership? Integration
between US, Korean and DH CLC;
development of CLC groups in
Baltimore; joint regional
meetings between US, Korean, and
DH.
CLC-USA has a national assembly
every five years. Having seen a
well organized, functional and
full of Spirit in Dong Hanh's
regional and national
gatherings, CLC-USA is looking
to Dong Hanh to help host their
next national assembly in 2009.
This meeting was the first of
its kind and the plan is to
gather annually. |
