Theme
(read aloud): Christian Life
Community is a community of men and women around the world, young
and old, of all social conditions, who for over 500 years have
sought to be Christ for others. Christian Life Community is
living the Christian Life in community.
CLC is not a parallel church, it is
Church. It is a community of love and companionship within the
Church community. Many people are looking for the spiritual growth
and support of small Christian community. Offering this
opportunity to others is a ministry of CLC. Participating in
gatherings and retreats with other CLC communities enhances this
ministry. The shape and spirit of each local community grows out
of the personality and experiences of its members. CLC is more
than a prayer group, it is way of Christian living.
v
Reflection
(facilitator read): Do I want
to live out my Christian vocation within community such as CLC?
What would being in a community add that I don’t have now? Would I
be able consistently to attend and participate in its meetings?
Short silence
v
Sharing
(facilitator introduce): What
struck me in this reflection? If my reflection suggests that
change is needed in my life, what am I willing to do? Is there
some way that this group could support me in my effort? + + +
