v
Theme
(read aloud): The spirituality
that undergirds CLC is based on St. Ignatius’ own conversion as a
layman. He used the pattern of his conversation to assist others
in theirs. He named this pattern “The Spiritual Exercises”. The
experience of each person who does these scripture-based exercises
is unique and leads to the discovery of his/her own spirituality.
The charism of Ignatian
spirituality is to discern how to love and serve God in all
things.
The spirituality of CLC is a
spirituality for choice, always seeking to serve the greater good.
It is about encountering God in all things. It is about being
“contemplative while acting”.
v
Reflection
(facilitator read): How do I
feel called to love and serve God in my life? What has been my
greatest support in this endeavor? What would help me even more?
Short silence
v
Sharing
(facilitator introduce): What
struck me in this reflection? If my reflection suggests that
change is needed in my life, what am I willing to do? Is there
some way that this group could support me in my effort? + + +
After the sharings, members may add anything else they wish, or
