Tracking the Spirit Within Me

spirit of the meeting. (4-5 minutes)
v

v
Theme
(read aloud): Life is difficult.
God who is in all things is also present in the midst of struggle.
God is there when there is loss of meaning, identity, and love.
Divine presence does not safeguard against hard times, it empowers
one to live through them. In crisis is experienced the possibility
of God.
v
Reflection
(facilitator read): Where do I
struggle? Where do I find God? Where not? Am I carefully guarding
my hurts? Do they give me meaning? Do I see an inner connection
between my physical symptoms and my spiritual state? Do I see the
desire for healing as God’s desire for me? Short
silence (2-3 min)
v
Sharing
(facilitator introduce): What
struck me in this reflection? + + + After the sharings are
finished, members may add anything else they wish, or ask for
feedback from the group. Remember, there is no comment on
what is shared.
