Tha'nh I-nha~
Offering and Prayer of St. Ignatius Loyola

Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. All that I am and all that I possess You have given me: I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will desire nothing more.
Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556)
Founder of the
Society of Jesus (The Jesuits)

Reflections from St. Ignatius

LOVE OF GOD

Have always, as far as possible, God in your mind and your mind in God. Think of nothing apart from Him, and whether alone or in public, never turn your eyes away from His.

DETACHMENT AND SELF-CONQUEST

DIVINE PROVIDENCE

If only we could learn to see God in every circumstance of life and lift our minds to heaven not only in times of prayer.

APOSTOLATE

Innocence and holiness of life are of themselves more powerful and far preference to all other gifts. But without prudence and the art of dealing with the world, they remain incomplete and incapable of guiding others.

CHARITY AND ZEAL

mong those who are united in the our Lord Jesus Christ by the bonds of charity and by the desire to procure the honor and glory of God, the most profitable words are those which the Holy Spirit engraves on their hearts by the prayers which they offer for one another.

CONFIDENCE IN GOD

Few souls understand what God would effect in them if they should give themselves entirely into His hands and allow His grace to act.
