MY FOREVER GOD

Dear God
As I sat down to write to You, I had thought to myself of the many thing that I wanted to tell You, But these things that I wanted to tell You, But these things would fill up page after page, and so here is just a little poem which shows how deeply I feel for You

God
I was You, who brought me joy and hope
It was You, who gave me strength and courage
I was You, who comforted and guided me through the dark days
I was You, who only knew my sorrows and shared my thoughts
I was You, who taught me how to be sincere, to love and to forgive one anther


But oh God
It was I, who ignored your presence and shut You out
It was I, who hurted You and made You cry
It was I, who always expected more than that You're given me
It was I, who was deceitful and did not live You with my heart
It was I, who acted selfishly and only call You when I fall
And it was I, who would always blames You for my mistakes


My Truly God,
You are everything to me, if only I could give it all back to You,
I would give up everything
